Madeline Peters (Dooley) is a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) who works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, grief, and life transitions. She is especially passionate about supporting people as they explore identity, build resilience, and reconnect with themselves through times of change.

Madeline believes that every individual holds the capacity for healing and growth. She takes a strengths-based, client-centered approach to therapy, creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences. She often integrates trauma-informed practices and somatic awareness, recognizing the powerful connection between mind and body in the healing process.

Madeline earned her Bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies: Gender and Health from the University of Michigan and her Master’s in Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University. She holds certification in trauma-informed yoga and is passionate about incorporating body-based healing practices into her work when appropriate.

Since 2017, Madeline has supported individuals in a variety of settings, including substance use counseling, jail and court-based programs, hospice care, and school-based mental health clinics. These diverse experiences inform her compassionate, inclusive approach and commitment to meeting each client where they are

Madeline is passionate about working with anyone seeking space for growth, healing, and self-reflection. She understands that healing is rarely linear or easy—but deeply believes in its value. Her goal is to walk alongside clients as they build insight, deepen self-understanding, and move toward a more grounded, peaceful life.

Outside of the therapy space, Madeline enjoys time with her husband, their dogs, and their close-knit group of friends. She loves being outdoors—especially kayaking, golfing, or relaxing in the backyard—and finds joy in gardening and cooking for loved ones.
