Samantha Bandlow is a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW), Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). She works primarily with individual clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, and major life transitions, including grief, career changes, and relationship shifts.
Samantha also has extensive experience supporting survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence and is passionate about helping clients build self-worth, independence, and a stronger sense of identity.
Her clinical approach is client-centered and strength-focused, drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. Samantha is committed to creating a supportive, empowering space where clients can grow at their own pace, with a focus on long-term stability and emotional resilience.
Samantha earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University, completing her graduate studies in 2023. Her background includes over six years of experience supporting survivors in crisis response roles, as well as three years working with individuals facing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
She believes that healing begins in safe, nonjudgmental spaces where individuals can connect with their experiences and emotions in a meaningful way. Samantha brings a calm, grounding presence to her sessions, supporting clients as they build confidence and rediscover a sense of control over their lives.
Outside of her clinical work, Samantha enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs. She’s learned to enjoy golf and the peacefulness that slowing down can provide. Her favorite individual activity is finding and trying out new recipes!
